What can buyers do to avoid negative equity?

We've experienced a booming market in the last year thanks to government assistance. However, there was stark uncertainty in the London market when the stamp duty deadline was lowered to £250,000 on June 30th. So, now that this is over, here are our thoughts on where the market will head. We're especially concerned about first-time purchasers with minimal down payments and shared ownership buyers, as we believe they're the most vulnerable.
